In my journal, I wrote about how - on Wednesday - I was working with Kim on my models. I made nets out of coloured corrugated card but before I had a chance to stick the nets together, Kim positioned the nets in such a way that they were half-opened and half-closed. It was interesting to see how two different people view the same net in different ways. Below are models made from the same nets I used for the previous models, using the open/closed idea:
As you can see, above, I have placed part of a photograph on one of the sides, deliberately using a greenish one that it contrasted with the rest of the colours. It adds an interesting depth to the model so I think I'll be doing more of these.
