On Monday, I prepared my exhibition space. A piece of wood covered the window although I had to wedge a piece of foam board in a gap just above it. We then painted the piece of wood so that it blended in with the rest of the wallspace:
The canvas that was meant to cover the counter also arrived on Monday albeit quite late at 3pm. I only managed to cover the sink and place the plinth and model before I went home.
On Tuesday, I arranged the A1 sheets onto the wall. I decided that it was best to remove the two photo mounts from the set because, on reflection on what Tara said about them not tying in very well with the rest of the design sheets, I found that it was best to let the design sheets do the work. The combined height of the plinth and model is 57cm. I left that much gap on the wall before I measured in the A1 sheets to ensure that whatever aspect it was looked at from, the model wouldn't obscure the design sheets. This was the end result:
However, on Wednesday, Jo (by chance) saw my practice models and said that I should put them on the plinth as well because they showed the design process. Although I was initially reluctant to do so, my friends agreed with the idea and felt that it looked much better with them on the side:
